[Wehnimer's Museum, Grand Foyer]
You are in the grand entry hall of the Wehnimer's Museum. This building houses much ancient and historical lore, artifacts and antiquities. The museum complex consists of galleries bedecked in fine works of art, wings devoted to historical artifacts, a library of rare manuscripts, a wing devoted to the natural history of Elanthia, and a Hall of Magic and Technology. You also see the Cualann disk, the Taraleena disk, a bull frog who is sitting, a striking marble trophy, a burnished gold plaque, a large mithril plaque and a carved modwir pedestal with a silver chalice on it.

It is noticeably cooler here than in the other parts of the garden. A huge banyan tree keeps this area in a perpetual gloom. There are various mosses clinging to the tree and all the shrubs seem stunted. A gardener's shed, almost hidden under a camouflage net of moss and vines, is nestled close to the western boundary of the garden. Standing in a northern corner is an outhouse. The back porch of House Brigatta can be seen to the south.

The southern portion of the garden has few trees. The plants are rich in color where they lie on a lush carpet of deep green grass. The way the flowers are arranged here is meant to provide restful ease. Northwest, a tree stands towering over the rest of those in the garden. You also see some benches.

A beautiful fountain sits in the center of the garden surrounded by beds of blossoming flowers. The pie-shaped flower beds have just enough space between them to allow one to wander the gardens. To the west the top of a huge banyan tree looms.

To the north some trees line a grassy path. Small circles of flowers dot the landscape where their bright colors attract the bees which you see hovering over first one bloom, then another. Fresh scents provide a fragrant backdrop to this idyllic scene. To the southwest, the top of a huge banyan tree crests the view. You also see a large bonfire and a massive woodpile.

Shade from the tree to the north provides just enough relief from the sun to make this a perfect area for outdoor parties. Surrounding trees and the walls of House Brigatta itself prevent the noises from the bustle of Wehnimer's from intruding. You also see a white reception pavilion, a glaes-paned dark maoral postern, a picnic table with some stuff on it, a large hammock and a barbecue pit.

The main room of the house is large but cozy. A pair of leather settees with matching footstools sit before a massive rough-hewn stone fireplace. Along one wall, tall bookcases stand alternately with weapons racks, each holding a goodly assortment of their proper objects. Thickly woven tapestries cover the windows, enhancing the room's feelings of privacy and intimacy. You also see a glaes-paned dark maoral postern, a small oak counter, a polished rosewood door, a bright silver unicorn-trimmed table with some stuff on it and a gold-trimmed modwir plaque.

The fine-grained modwir is polished to a lustrious shine and trimmed with a thin line of gold that traces the curving scalloped edge of the plaque. A gold plate, cut in the same curving scallop, covers most of the face of the plaque and is engraved with a flowing script.
There appears to be something written on it.

This plaque is presented to the proud members of House Brigatta, in recognition of their outstanding achievements in gladiatorial combat during the House Challenge Games hosted by the House of the Rising Phoenix. Congratulations!
