Once Lythe's madness was quelled the conflict among the opposing sides lessened. Fatigue on both sides had caused long lasting effects and several years later many of the participants of the initial outbreak perished or were lost through various means. One can assume loose ends tied or the very nature of time itself. Phoenix for many years would struggle with the true nature of its enemy as it retreated back into hiding and some forgot.

A great spirit would lend his aid as Voln's Order came to light to shed a true understanding of the shadow and provided an ally against the power of the demonic.

The Council of Light had built a stronghold and after its intial arrival had retreated inward to hide its actions. The Organizations activities were known to the residents of Wehnimers Landing. The bath house remained a blight until it burned in 5102, but the Organization only moved south and east. The House of the Rising Phoenix continued its efforts to teach those who were unaware of the Council's overt influence while facing the greater manifestations of it's power throughout Elanthia. It is through these actions that Phoenix is largely viewed today.

Knowledge is the greatest of all weapons,
for it is as powerful when withheld as when wielded.

Knowledge is the greatest of all fortresses,
for it travels with you.

Knowledge is the greatest of all burdens,
though it weighs nothing at all.

Knowledge is the greatest of all addictions,
for the more you learn, the less of it you know.

The Houses mission has grown in complexity as more has been revealed about our adversary and it's minions. From the Demons of lore they once called Ordainer's we know now as Vathors, to the subtle manipulation of people through power, or the reality of some cursed to become undead. The depths of its evil are vast. It's a battle for our world against darkness and the freedom of our souls.
